Registration Fees

Registration for EAHM 2025 ISHA Annual Scientific Meeting will open on 1 February 2025, with an early bird registration deadline of 4 May 2025 and a standard registration deadline of 12 June 2025. Please check back on this page in February for further information when the registration link will open.

The registration fees will include:

 

  • attendance at meeting sessions

Abstract Submission

Abstracts are invited relating to Direct Anterior Approach Hip Surgery.  Submissions will be considered for Rapid Fire oral or e-poster presentation.  Full submission details and the online submission portal will open on the 10th January 2025.

Abstract Instructions & Guidelines

An abstract should highlight major points of your research and explain why your work is important; what your purpose was, how you went about your project, what you learned, and what you concluded.

Some local firewalls may restrict access to the abstract submission website so if you are experiencing problems, please do try to access this from another machine where possible, Chrome is the preferred browser platform.

All abstracts must be submitted online via our abstract management platform which will be accessed via the link below. You will need to create a user account by entering your personal details incl. email address and creating a password. 

We will not accept any submissions by email.

Abstract Format

Abstracts should be no more than 300 words, and uploaded directly unto the abstract submission portal, single-spaced, and using size 12 Calibri font.  We recommend that you draft the submission in Microsoft Word to allow for editorial checking and word count and then cutting and pasting this into the submission portal.

It is recommended that abstracts are submitted in the following format for consistency. 

  • Background

  • Methods

  • Results

  • Conclusion/Findings

  • Implications (if applicable)

  • Disclosure

Abstract  Acceptance Conditions

In submitting an abstract to EAHM 2025, all submitters, co-authorsand presenters agree to comply with the following Conditions of Abstract Submission:

1. Key Dates & Deadlines
a) Abstract Submission Period
Abstract submission will be open from 10 January 2025 (00:00 UTC) to 30 March 2025 (23:59 UTC). No submissions shall be accepted after this date.

b) Abstract Notifications
Notifications to abstract submitters are scheduled to be sent w/c 28 April 2025, to allow time for presenters of accepted abstracts to register at the Early Bird Registration rate. The notification will specify whether abstracts have been accepted or rejected, and their allocated presentation format. Submitters are politely asked to refrain from contacting the organisers for updates prior to this date.

c) Presenter Changes
If the submitter of an accepted abstract wishes to change the presenting author, they are requested to notify the organisers via email to info@eahm.info, immediately upon abstract acceptance where possible, but no later than 18 May 2025 (23:59 UTC). No changes shall be accepted after this date.

Submitters are asked to be as accurate as possible about the presenting author at the point of submission, ensuring that the bio and photograph provided are for the intended presenting author. Please only list as the presenting author an individual that is in a position to register forand travel to the Meeting.

c) Withdrawal
If the submitter of an accepted abstract wishes to withdraw an abstract from presentation or publication, they are requested to notify the organisers via email to info@eahm.info immediately upon abstract acceptance where possible, but no later than 18 May 2025 (23:59 UTC). After this date, the organisers cannot guarantee that the abstract will be removed from the Abstract Book.

d) ePoster Submission
Following notification of abstract acceptance, ePoster presenters will receive an ePoster PPT template and upload instructions from the Organisers. ePoster upload deadline is will be 12 June 2025 (23:59 UTC). After this date the organisers cannot guarantee that the ePoster will be included in the ePoster platform.

2. Eligibility
The material submitted to the Meeting must have not been published or presented at any national or international meetings before this one.

3. Registration
All accepted abstracts must have at least one of the authors registered to attend the Meeting in person (the presenting author). This applies to both oral presentations and ePosters.

All presenters, co-authors, faculty members, etc. who attend EAHM 2025 are expected to pay all registration and travel costs; no exceptions are made. If attendance depends on outside funding, please secure financial assistance before submitting an abstract.

Registration will open on 1 February 2025. The Early Bird Registration deadline is 4 May 2025 (23:59 UTC); the Standard Registration deadline is 12 June 2025 (23:59 UTC).

4. Documentation and Permissions
All lead submitters and presenting authors must complete a Financial Disclosure Statement andCopyright Licence Agreement. The terms and conditions outlined therein constitute part of the overall abstract submission terms and conditions.

Disclosures will not be seen or taken into consideration when the abstract is considered for presentation. These forms can be downloaded via the links below.
Submission Information and Guidelines
1. General Information
• Only abstracts submitted electronically via the EAHM 2025 Abstract Submission Portal will be accepted.
• Abstracts must meet the specifications stipulated in the Abstract Submission Guidelines.
• Authors’ first and last names must be spelled out in full; please do not use initials. If authors’ names appear on more than one abstract, please ensure that their names and affiliations appear and are spelled identically on each abstract, to facilitate proper indexing.
• The abstract title or authors' names/institutions must not be inserted in the 'Content' field, to allow for blind review.
2. Communications
All communications regarding abstracts will be directed to the abstract submitter/corresponding author. It is the responsibility of the submitter/corresponding author to inform the presenting author (if different) and co-authors of the abstract acceptance status.
3. Final Decision on Abstract Status
The Convenors' decision on an abstract is final and no further correspondence on the status of the abstract will be entered into.

4. Abstract Topic
The organisers may decide to categorise a submitted abstract into a different topic than the topic for which it was submitted.

5. Abstract Book
Abstracts will be printed in the digital meeting abstract book and accessible via the meeting app. Abstracts or selected abstracts may be included within a post-event publication at the discretion of the organisers. The terms ‘meeting abstract book’, ‘abstract book’, and ‘publication supplement’ will be used interchangeably.

6. Certificates of Presentation
Certificates of Presentation will be issued only to the presenter that attended the Meeting and gave the oral presentation, or the listed presenting author in the case of ePosters.

7. Errors
The organisers cannot be held responsible for any typing, spelling or language errors in the submitted abstract(s).

8. Indemnification
Authors agree to indemnify and hold harmless EAHM, its agents and representatives should the material presented or provided for publication be determined to defame, libel or slander an individual or organisation, violate the confidentiality of any individual or organisation, or infringe on another's copyright.

9. Personal Data Protection
By submitting an abstract you are consenting to EAHM storing your data. The personal data provided in the submission process will be used to engage and correspond with you and corresponding authors regarding your EAHM 2025 abstract submission,EAHM 2025  meeting registration, and information regarding EAHM related activities. You also consent to the organisers passing your personal data to the CME accreditors for processing in relation to CME accreditation. In accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 1998, we guarantee the confidentiality of your personal data. Therefore, the collected personal data in the present document (name, academic titles, email, address, phone/skype/social media contacts) will be used only for the purposes that are specified above.
