Standard DAA THR Techniques
Mr. Jonathan Hutt is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic and Specialist Hip Surgeon with expertise in all aspects of hip surgery, including advanced joint preservation techniques and hip reconstruction. He has a particular interest in young patients with hip problems and complex surgery for failed hip replacements. He is based at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and practices at the Princess Grace Hospital, with memberships in various prestigious medical associations.

Managing
Complications
Professor Richard Field is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in the management of hip-related problems. He is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at St George’s University of London. His NHS clinical practice is undertaken at the South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre (SWLEOC), where he was the Director of Research from 2004-2021. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Hip Preservation Surgery. His private practice is undertaken at The Lister Hospital in Chelsea and occasionally at SWLEOC.
Professor Field is the UK’s most experienced surgeon in Direct Anterior (minimally invasive, muscle sparing) Hip Replacement and has used this approach for over 2000 patients since 2008. He uses the standard longitudinal and the less-visible bikini incisions, as appropriate.

Revisions
Kristoff Corten has attended training programmes in the most renowned centres in the world. He has used the knowledge he gained there for the further improvement of muscle-sparing surgery methods. The development and scientific substantiation of these improvements formed the basis of his PhD.
